Until yesterday, I thought that I was the only one on the internet who liked Airtel's Callhome service. And not just because SRK is so cute!

I came across this post from a guy called Parthosarthi who feels the same way. This makes me certain that all the nasty things that I've come across on the net about them till now is either because of the initial traffic explosion or just some propaganda by my previous service provider.

Good going, guys!

I finally took the plunge and signed up for AirtelCallHome despite all the scary content on the web about them.

I was relieved to find that the service actually works and has no problems as of now. I could receive my account details almost instantly, and could make calls without any hassles.

The voice quality is slightly better than that of Reliance India call, and the service is not that expensive. Way to go Airtel.

What I want to see now is will Reliance slash their prices too? I so love these price wars.
